Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Tangier Arrival
Arrival in Tangier and pickup from the port, airport or your accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, you can enjoy a short first visit of Tangier and its surroundings. Overnight stay in Tangier.

Day 2: Tangier – Rabat
After breakfast, travel south to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Visit Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and, if time allows, the Kasbah of the Udayas. Overnight stay in Rabat.

Day 3: Rabat – Casablanca
Continue to Casablanca, Morocco’s economic capital. Visit the exterior of Hassan II Mosque and the Corniche area, with free time to enjoy the city. Overnight stay in Casablanca.

Day 4: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen
After breakfast, leave Casablanca and travel north, passing by Rabat again on the way toward the Rif Mountains. Continue to Chefchaouen, the famous blue town, where you will spend the night. This is the route exactly for travelers who want to go from Tangier through Rabat and Casablanca before sleeping in Chefchaouen.

Day 5: Chefchaouen – Fes
Enjoy a relaxed morning in Chefchaouen with time to walk through the blue medina, take photos and enjoy the atmosphere. Later continue to Fes for dinner and overnight stay in a riad or hotel.

Day 6: Fes Sightseeing Tour
Today is dedicated to Fes, one of Morocco’s most important imperial cities. Explore the medina, artisan quarters, souks, old gates and historic neighborhoods. Overnight stay in Fes.

Day 7: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
Leave Fes after breakfast and travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane and the cedar forest, then continue through Midelt and the Ziz Valley before arriving in Merzouga. Overnight stay in a hotel near the dunes.

Day 8: Merzouga – Camel Trek – Sahara Camp
Enjoy free time in the Merzouga area before your desert experience. In the late afternoon, ride camels into the dunes of Erg Chebbi, watch the sunset and arrive at your Sahara camp. Dinner and overnight in the desert.

Day 9: Desert Camp – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
Wake up early for sunrise in the dunes. After breakfast, return by camel or 4x4 and continue toward Rissani and Todra Gorge. Later continue to Dades Valley for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast, travel through the road of kasbahs toward Ouarzazate. Visit Ait Ben Haddou, the famous UNESCO ksar, then cross the High Atlas Mountains through Tizi n'Tichka pass and arrive in Marrakech. End of your Morocco itinerary 10 days from Tangier.
