Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Fes
Arrival in Fes airport. Meet your driver and transfer to your riad or hotel. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy free time to relax or take a first walk in the city. Overnight stay in Fes.

Day 2: Fes – Tangier
After breakfast, departure toward Tangier. Depending on the route and timing, enjoy scenic stops on the way. Arrival in Tangier and free time to discover the city atmosphere, the port area and northern Morocco. Overnight stay in Tangier.

Day 3: Tangier – Chefchaouen
After breakfast, continue toward Chefchaouen, the blue city in the Rif Mountains. Enjoy the beautiful medina, blue alleys and relaxed atmosphere. Overnight stay in Chefchaouen.

Day 4: Chefchaouen – Casablanca
After breakfast, departure toward Casablanca. This is a longer travel day but very good for travelers who want to include the Atlantic side of Morocco in the same itinerary. Arrival and overnight stay in Casablanca.

Day 5: Casablanca – Meknes
After breakfast, continue toward Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Depending on timing, enjoy a short visit before overnight stay in Meknes.

Day 6: Meknes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt
Leave Meknes and head south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, often called the Switzerland of Morocco, then continue to the cedar forest area where you may see Barbary macaques. Continue to Midelt for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga
After breakfast, continue south and enjoy the changing landscapes of the Ziz Valley. Pass through Erfoud and arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon. Relax near the dunes and spend the night in a hotel near Erg Chebbi.

Day 8: Merzouga – Khamlia – Rissani – Camel Trek – Desert Camp
Explore the Merzouga region with visits to places such as Khamlia village and Rissani. In the afternoon, ride camels into the dunes of Erg Chebbi and enjoy the sunset. Dinner and overnight stay in a Sahara desert camp.

Day 9: Desert Camp – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
Wake up early for sunrise in the dunes. After breakfast, return by camel or 4x4 and continue toward Todra Gorge. Enjoy time to walk through the canyon before driving to Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel or riad.

Day 10: Dades Valley – Roses Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou
Travel through the Valley of Roses and continue toward Ouarzazate. Visit the famous kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, one of the most beautiful UNESCO World Heritage sites in Morocco. Overnight stay in the Ait Ben Haddou or Ouarzazate area.

Day 11: Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
After breakfast, cross the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n'Tichka pass. Enjoy scenic stops along the way before arriving in Marrakech. Overnight stay in Marrakech.

Day 12: Marrakech Departure or Free Time
Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy free time in Marrakech or transfer to the airport. End of your unforgettable Morocco journey.

• The road from Chefchaouen to Casablanca is longer, but it allows a more complete Morocco route.
• Temperatures can be warm during the day and cool at night, especially in the desert.
• Bring comfortable clothes, sunscreen, sunglasses and a light jacket.
• Take a small bag for the camp and leave the rest of your luggage in the vehicle.
• Camel trekking is included, but a 4x4 transfer to the camp can also be arranged.
