Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Casablanca – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
Early departure from Casablanca with your private driver. Travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains with stops in Ifrane and the cedar forest area, where you may see Barbary macaques. Continue through Midelt and enjoy panoramic views over the Ziz Valley before reaching Merzouga in the late afternoon or evening. Depending on timing, relax near the dunes and spend the night in a hotel in the Merzouga desert area.

Day 2: Merzouga – Rissani – Camel Trek – Desert Camp
After breakfast, enjoy time in the Merzouga area and discover part of the desert region. You can visit Rissani or simply relax before the desert experience. In the late afternoon, ride camels into the dunes of Erg Chebbi and enjoy the sunset over the Sahara. Dinner and overnight stay in a Sahara desert camp under the stars.

Day 3: Desert Camp – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
Wake up early for sunrise in the dunes. After breakfast, return by camel or 4x4 and begin the journey toward Marrakech. Pass through Todra Gorge and continue across the Dades Valley and southern Morocco landscapes. Then drive through Ouarzazate and visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou kasbah if timing allows. Cross the High Atlas Mountains through Tizi n'Tichka pass before arriving in Marrakech in the evening. End of your desert tour from Casablanca 3 days.

• Bring comfortable clothes, sunglasses, sunscreen and a light jacket.
• Temperatures in the desert can be hot during the day and cool at night.
• Take a small bag for the camp and leave the rest of your luggage in the vehicle.
