Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert
Departure early in the morning from Fes. Travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains and pass by Ifrane, often called the Switzerland of Morocco. Continue through the cedar forest area, where you may see Barbary macaques, then continue via Midelt and the beautiful Ziz Valley. After scenic stops along the route, arrive in Merzouga. Enjoy a camel trek across the dunes of Erg Chebbi to the desert camp, where you will watch the sunset, have dinner and spend a magical night under the stars.

Day 2: Merzouga Desert Excursion – Nomads – Khamlia – Rissani – Merzouga
Wake up early to admire the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, return from the camp by camel or 4x4 and continue with a desert excursion around Merzouga. Visit nomad families, discover the village of Khamlia famous for Gnawa music, and explore Rissani, one of the most traditional market towns in the region. In the afternoon, return to Merzouga for dinner and overnight in a hotel near the dunes.

Day 3: Merzouga – Erfoud – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
After breakfast, begin the journey through Erfoud and desert landscapes toward Todra Gorge. Enjoy free time to walk through the canyon and admire its high rock walls. Continue through Berber villages and the scenic road toward Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel or riad.

Day 4: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
After breakfast, continue through the Valley of Roses and Ouarzazate before reaching Ait Ben Haddou, one of the most famous kasbahs in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage site. After the visit, continue across the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n'Tichka pass. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening.

• Please prepare a small backpack for the camp and leave the rest of your luggage in the vehicle.
