Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Casablanca – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt
Early departure from Casablanca with your private driver. Travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains with stops in Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco, and the cedar forest area, where you may see Barbary macaques. Continue through the mountain landscapes toward Midelt. Dinner and overnight stay in Midelt or nearby.

Day 2: Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga
After breakfast, continue your journey through the Ziz Valley with its beautiful palm groves and panoramic viewpoints. Pass through Erfoud, famous for fossils and dates, before arriving in Merzouga. Depending on arrival time, relax near the dunes and enjoy the peaceful desert atmosphere. Overnight stay in a hotel in the Merzouga area.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Camel Trek – Desert Camp
After breakfast, enjoy time in the Merzouga region and explore part of the desert surroundings. You can visit Rissani market if the timing matches or simply relax before the Sahara experience. In the late afternoon, ride camels into the dunes of Erg Chebbi and enjoy the sunset over the desert. Dinner and overnight stay in a Sahara desert camp under the stars.

Day 4: Desert Camp – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
Wake up early for sunrise in the dunes. After breakfast, return by camel or 4x4 and begin the journey toward Marrakech. Pass through Todra Gorge and continue across the Dades Valley and southern Morocco landscapes. Then drive through Ouarzazate and visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou kasbah if timing allows. Cross the High Atlas Mountains through Tizi n'Tichka pass before arriving in Marrakech in the evening. End of your Casablanca desert tour 4 days.
