Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen – Fes
Your 4 days tour from Tangier starts with pickup from Tangier port, airport or your accommodation. Drive through the Rif Mountains and stop in Chefchaouen, the famous blue town, where you can enjoy free time to walk through the medina and take beautiful photos. After the visit, continue toward Fes for dinner and overnight stay in a riad or hotel.

Day 2: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
After breakfast, leave Fes and travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, often called the Switzerland of Morocco, and in the cedar forest where Barbary macaques can sometimes be seen. Continue through Midelt and along the scenic Ziz Valley before arriving in Merzouga. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel near the dunes.

Day 3: Merzouga – Camel Trek – Sahara Desert Camp
Today you can relax near the dunes or enjoy the Merzouga area before your desert experience. In the late afternoon, ride camels across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi to admire the sunset. Arrive at your Sahara camp, where you will enjoy dinner, Berber music and a magical night under the desert stars.

Day 4: Desert Camp – Rissani – Erfoud – Midelt – Fes – Tangier
Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, return by camel or 4x4 and begin the journey back north. Pass through Rissani, Erfoud, Ziz Valley, Midelt and the Middle Atlas, then continue past Fes and back to Tangier. End of your 4 day Tangier desert tour.
