Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Rabat – Meknes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt
Your 5 days tour from Rabat to Marrakech starts with pickup from your hotel, airport or accommodation in Rabat. Travel south through Meknes and the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, often called the Switzerland of Morocco, and continue to the cedar forest. Pass through beautiful mountain scenery before arriving in Midelt for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga
After breakfast, continue south through the Ziz Valley with its palm groves and panoramic desert landscapes. Pass through Erfoud and reach Merzouga, where the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi begin. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel near the dunes.

Day 3: Merzouga – Desert Discovery – Camel Trek – Sahara Camp
Enjoy more time to discover the Merzouga area and relax before your desert adventure. In the late afternoon, ride camels into the dunes of Erg Chebbi, watch the sunset and arrive at your Sahara camp. Enjoy dinner, Berber music and a magical night under the stars.

Day 4: Desert Camp – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, return by camel or 4x4 and continue through Rissani toward Todra Gorge, one of Morocco’s most beautiful canyons. Continue to Dades Valley for dinner and overnight stay in a hotel or riad.

Day 5: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech
After breakfast, continue through the Valley of Roses and Ouarzazate. Visit the famous kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, one of the most iconic places in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then cross the High Atlas Mountains through Tizi n’Tichka pass before arriving in Marrakech. End of your desert tour from Rabat 5 day.
