Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen
Your 5 days tour from Tangier starts with pickup from Tangier port, airport or your accommodation. Travel through the Rif Mountains toward Chefchaouen, the famous blue town. Enjoy time to explore the medina, take photos and relax in one of the most charming places in Morocco. Dinner and overnight stay in Chefchaouen.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Fes
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning in Chefchaouen before continuing to Fes. On arrival, check in to your riad or hotel. Depending on the time, you can enjoy a first walk around the city or relax. Dinner and overnight stay in Fes.

Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
Leave Fes after breakfast and travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane and the cedar forest, where Barbary macaques can sometimes be seen. Continue through Midelt and the scenic Ziz Valley before arriving in Merzouga. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel near the dunes.

Day 4: Merzouga – Camel Trek – Sahara Desert Camp
Today you can relax near the dunes or enjoy the Merzouga area before your desert adventure. In the late afternoon, ride camels into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, admire the sunset and arrive at your Sahara camp. Enjoy dinner, Berber music and a magical night under the stars.

Day 5: Desert Camp – Rissani – Erfoud – Midelt – Fes – Tangier
Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, return by camel or 4x4 and start the journey back north. Pass through Rissani, Erfoud, Ziz Valley, Midelt, the Middle Atlas and Fes before arriving back in Tangier. End of your 5 day Tangier desert tour.
