Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Tangier – Rabat
Your 7 Day Morocco Tour from Tangier starts with pickup from Tangier port, airport or your accommodation. Travel south along the Atlantic coast to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Visit Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the Kasbah of the Udayas if time allows. Dinner and overnight stay in Rabat.

Day 2: Rabat – Casablanca – Chefchaouen
After breakfast, continue to Casablanca, where you can stop to see the Hassan II Mosque area and the Corniche. Later, head north inland through beautiful landscapes toward Chefchaouen, the famous blue town in the Rif Mountains. Dinner and overnight stay in Chefchaouen.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Fes
Enjoy the morning in Chefchaouen with time to walk through the blue medina, take photos and relax. After lunch or earlier depending on timing, continue toward Fes. On arrival, check in to your riad or hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Fes.

Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
Leave Fes after breakfast and travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane and the cedar forest, where Barbary macaques can often be seen. Continue through Midelt and the spectacular Ziz Valley before arriving in Merzouga. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel near the dunes.

Day 5: Merzouga – Camel Trek – Sahara Desert Camp
Today you can relax near the dunes or enjoy the Merzouga area before your desert adventure. In the late afternoon, ride camels through the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, admire the sunset and reach your Sahara camp. Enjoy dinner, Berber music and a magical night under the stars.

Day 6: Desert Camp – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
Wake up early for sunrise in the dunes. After breakfast, return by camel or 4x4 and continue toward Rissani and Todra Gorge, one of the most impressive canyon landscapes in Morocco. Later continue to Dades Valley for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast, travel through the Valley of Roses and continue to Ouarzazate. Visit the famous UNESCO ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, then cross the High Atlas Mountains through Tizi n'Tichka pass and arrive in Marrakech. End of your desert tour from Tangier 7 days.
